One evening, five acts

The Night

Everything happens under one roof — no shuttles, no scramble. Here's how the evening moves.

5:00

Cocktail Hour

The Red Room · First Floor

Doors open at five. Find the Red Room, find a drink, find someone you haven't seen in years.

6:00

Dinner

Main Dining Room · Second Floor

Seated dinner upstairs, under the chandeliers. You pick your entrée when you RSVP — we're holding you to it.

8:00

Toasts & First Dance

Main Dining Room

Short speeches. We promise. Then the floor opens and it does not close.

10:30

Late Night Snacks

Second wind, delivered on trays

This is the part people are still talking about in March. Lift the lid if you want to know.

12:00

After Party

A bar. Nearby. Soon.

For anyone who isn't done. Tick the box on your RSVP and we'll send you the address.

The Venue

The Toledo Club

A private club since 1889, with the marble, oak, and chandeliers to prove it. Park in the club's own lot, start with cocktails in the Red Room on the first floor, then head upstairs to the Main Dining Room. Follow the gold — and the noise.

Address

235 14th Street

Toledo, OH 43604

Parking

Private lot at the club

The Toledo Club has its own parking. Pull in, leave the car, don't think about it again.

Non-negotiable, lovingly

Formal

Tuxedos, dinner jackets, dark suits. Floor-length or elegant cocktail. It's January in Ohio — bring the good coat. There's a coat check.

Do

Dress like the room

Black tie, dark suits, gowns, velvet, sequins, a truly excellent shoe. The Toledo Club has never once been underdressed. Neither should you.

Maybe don't

Wear white or ivory

Both grooms are in dark suits, so the field is wide open — but leave head-to-toe white to the tablecloths.

Encouraged

Navy and gold

You're absolutely allowed to match the wedding. In fact, please do. There will be photographs.

The Toledo Club's own house rule, which we're passing along word for word: proper business attire — collared shirt, pressed pants — is required inside the banquet rooms. No shorts, T-shirts, athletic apparel, ball caps, or denim are permitted in event rooms of The Toledo Club.

Stay downtown, cab home

Places to Stay

All of these are a short ride from the club. Book early — and mention the wedding if a block is listed.

Questions

Five o'clock. Dinner is seated at six and the doors close when service starts — if you're running late, aim to be in your chair by 5:50.

All of it. Cocktails in the Red Room on the first floor, dinner and dancing in the Main Dining Room upstairs. You won't need your coat until you leave.

Your code knows exactly how many seats are yours — it'll show them when you unlock the RSVP. If we got it wrong, say so in the notes and we'll fix it.

Named guests only, and every name is listed on your RSVP. It's a late night in a private club, so most families are treating this as a night off.

The Toledo Club has private parking on site. Pull in and leave it there. If you'd rather not drive home afterward, Uber and Lyft run downtown all night.

Honestly, we just want you there. That's the whole ask. If you insist on more, a link is coming here soon.

It's Toledo in January. Assume cold, possibly snow, definitely a coat. Coat check is right inside the door.

There is. It's printed on your invitation. Type it anywhere on this page — or into the RSVP box — and the house band shows up.
